Chaos And Bang With Jim Steel, Redux

We redid the interview with Jim Steel, and for those amongst you prone to whining about a dearth of training talk, prepare to shut your whiny fucking pieholes, because we talked about nothing but training.

Download here.

I felt pirate-y and went in search of booty.

  1. Holy shit, this chick is HOT!

Thank God Jim wasn`t attacked by robots this time. Great training talk.

  2. Fuck me. Torn biceps. Ripped ILT bands. Traps that make grinding bone sounds in your upper back. Is weightlifting at all a healthy pursuit?

    2. People get injured doing much lamer shit. We get injured doing awesome shit. What the fuck would the point of living be if you weren't doing insane shit with a high risk of injury? fucking pointless, that's what.

    3. You're right. If you're going to get injured make sure you get injured whilst being awesome. It's a delicate balance between risk & return. It's just a bit disconcerting as a beginner whenever I hear experienced lifters discussing their torn body parts.

  4. Jamie I have a request for you.

You do that high pinched voice in the podcast when you are gonna mock something, I listened to the part you do it in the podcast and something just clicked in my head. Could you try saying: "Hi I'm Dr.Rockzo, the Rock and Roll clown, and I do cocaine!!!!!" in that same high pinched voice in the next podcast ? That would be be... just fucking hilarious.

If you wanna know why the fuck I'm asking this, youtube "Dr.Rockzo"

    2. That voice you make is way too fucking similar to his, that's why I asked it and because I roll on the floor laughing thinking about Paul's reaction.

  5. Jamie, what is your opinion on John Kiefer's take on diet? (back-loading, carbs)

Wouldn't you agree that you share many of the same theories and diet practises? (espcially his Carb-nite diet)

    1. I haven't looked into them all that much. I'll do so and then Paul and I can discuss it on the next episode.

    2. I´ve read both of his books, good quality stuff.
I believe Carb Nite is very similar to your fat loss approach, 5-6 day keto runs with a rampage/carb-up on the 7th night.
Carb Back-Loading reminds me of your `2kg of chicken and veggies through the day and a turkey kebab at night PWO` diet, except Kiefer suggests a morning fast a 1:1 fat to protein ratio during the day. Carb-up like a mofo at night after you train.
