Chaos and Pain Hatecast- The Pilot Episode

Due to my obvious ideological differences with Paul Carter, we won't be doing Chaos and Bang anymore.  What we will be doing is the Hatecast, which will feature myself, Brice Allen, and a rotating cast of guests (which tentatively includes Peter Baker of TNation / www.peterdbaker.com / BioLayne, a British wrestler on the indie circuit who will be guesting in NXT named Danny Burch (I'll just use his wrestling name so we don't break kayfabe, I guess), and an internet steroid guru who runs #TeamFakeGear for BAB Supplements named Ed Dorrence.  We'll be covering topics like steroids (I'll finally discuss them), the conjugate method, programming, body armor built from car tires, and whatever else happens to come up.

Here's a pilot we recorded just to test out the production software.  I was working on a Chromebook because my laptop took a shit on me earlier in the day, so the high-quality mic I'd bought couldn't be employed.  This weekend we will have the first official episode, hopefully with mics and an intro (to be recorded by the new singer of Germany's Impact36, who just just broke a bunch of records in Germany and posted a 1504 total raw at 181 after only 9 months of heavy strength training) and all of that happy horseshit... or it'll be our second pilot because we intend to make this shit as professional as humanly possible.  In any event, we'll be posting these weekly on Chaos and Pain TV on Youtube at first and then adding Soundcloud and iTunes and the like as soon as we can.

So while I work on the next article, here's a pilot episode of the Chaos and Pain Hatecast- No Fap?  No life.  The levels aren't perfect and I have no pop filter on my mic, but it's a hell of a lot better than what we were getting with Chaos and Bang.

  1. The podcasts starts out with two great ideas: have a podcast again in the first place - and dump that sad, estrogen-filled sack Paul Carter.

I also appreciate the effort towards production quality. As a suggestion for next time, have a list of items and talking points ready, but don't force it. I think the two of you could get a really good cast going if you cover things you're both interested and just go with the flow, while avoiding running out of shit to talk about. I'm looking forward to future episodes for sure.

Also, Mr. Baker is a 'powerlifter and submission grappler' according to his bio, which hyperlinks to a video of him deadlifting unimpressive amounts of weight. No grappling (or bench and squat). I'm sure he is a straight up killer in the 135lb division , though.

    1. Hahaha. Here's an interesting guy who's very knowledgeable. As for badass powerlifters, Ellen Stein will be coming in to unload on the powerlifting community . Between the two of us, I think we hate everyone on Earth.

I actually had an outline for that episode. It's gonna take a few episodes to find our pacing, but I'm hoping to have the lifting world's version of the last podcast on the left side.

      Thanks for the input!

  2. I did nofap for multiple months a row and all I developed was a severe hatred for myself, erectile dysfunction, depression and kept pissing in my bed almost every day at one point. The last part was really what made the difference for me. I havent heard the full podcast as of yet but im exicited to hear what you have to say about it. However one of the points of nofap is to make you not feel content. How would you approach with keeping yourself not comfortable and having thrive to do get shit done which nofap slightly helps with.

    1. Pissing the bed in a non-sexual/non-vodka related manner? What the fuck...

You should never feel content as a matter of principle. There’s always new shit to learn, or see, or do.

Why the hell would excessive masturbation have anything to do with that? Weird.

    3. Nofap gave me wet dreams not yesfap.

Ever since I heard CnP's opinion that nofap is not as good as people make it out to be ive been feeling comfortable in my own skin.

    4. I've never in my life had a problem with getting motivated. That whole laying around and sleeping and being lazy bullshit is nothing but signs of depression... and not cumming does not cure depression. Testosterone does. So does caffeine. I've written about it before- the falling asleep after cumming is a matter of conditioning, nothing more.,

  3. Wet dreams and pissing the bed are pretty different things. I meant, why would masturbation have anything to do with your contentment levels? If jerking it is effecting your life on such an emotional level, there is other shit going on up there in the old noggin.

Yesfap is an actual word? I thought it was just called being a normal human.

    1. It's called just being a sentient creature, haha. If anyone can name a single ascetic in the entire history of mankind who was a badass, I'd be fucking shocked.

    1. His proseltization of nofap and he's apparently a Christian now. When he and I were friends, he lived a MARKEDLY different lifestyle. What he's doing now is just trying to cash in on the idiocy of the internet generation. If he had a soul, he sold the fucking thing to try and make a buck. And in my circle, no one has anything good to say about that guy. While I was on my hiatus he burned every bridge he had among the people I know in the lifting world.

    2. That sucks. He actually seemed like a pretty decent guy. Really enjoyed CNBYE with you two, but all good things must come to an end I guess.

    3. Ahhh, I thought it was maybe just some of your more extreme life style choices and him having young girls or something.

As others have said, I'm sure whatever rises from the ashes will be great.

    4. Nah- of all of my peccadillos, I'm not into kids, haha.

    5. Didn’t mean that, just that he wouldn’t want his girls being exposed to your material or lifestyle choices

  6. Just listened to the full episode, it was pretty good and I’m looking forward to this.

Just had some thoughts, and wanted to play devil’s advocate a bit.

I find it interesting that in your articles/interview/podcasts, you seem to say that the “science isn’t behind this” or “isn’t behind that,” meanwhile your diet is based around consuming very very high amounts of protein, training extremely heavy most of the time, and all sorts of shit that flies in the face of conventional strength training, and one could even say that this isn’t supported by science.

Keep in mind that I follow a diet similar to what you’ve supported in the past; I consume close to 400 grams of protein a day, I do a standard ketogenic diet, I also train with light workouts in the morning and heavy workouts in the evening (sometimes totaling 14 workouts a week, along with a manual labor job) and find this works well, and generally when it comes to diet and training we wouldn’t disagree on very much at all.

However, to say that your way of diet and training supported by science or by doctors is simply wrong, even though it’s been proven effective to work by both strength athletes of the past and present.

The parallel I’d like to draw is this:
Just because something is “unscientific” doesn’t mean it won’t work for some people. Some people do really well with only high reps, others only low reps. It could be the same with masturbation.

Some people might feel better/healthier not watching porn and abstaining from masturbation (but fuck that “hard mode” bullshit, not cumming for 90 days is a fantastic way to pull an Elliot Rodger) and vice versa.

I personally tried nofap for about two months, and while my dick didn’t stop working, abstaining from jerking just didn’t seem to do anything. If there was one positive benefit it’s that girls who used to be butt-ugly would get me hard from a little ankle showing.

If there’s one thing I took from nofap, it’s that porn probably isn’t the healthiest thing to consume, at least for me. I no longer feel post-masturbatorial shame from busting a fat ass nut since I’m using my mind and not watching other people have sex.

To summarize, some things work for some people and vice versa. If someone abstains from masturbation and it helps them clean their life up, even if it’s a placebo, whatever. A placebo effect is still an effect. I’d also like to say that you’d be surprised how many people who do nofap aren’t incels. The communities generally hate each other. An incel is more likely to whack his three inch penis to tranny porn six times a day rather than not, and just be ashamed and not admit to it.

Looking forward to the next episode, liking all the content we’ve been getting lately.

    1. I used science to combat the "science" on which their argument is based, because they for some reason refuse to acknowledge that Judeo-Christian morality is the sole driver of their fad. The idea of abstaining from sex comes from maybe three sources in history- two African tribes and the Torah. No one really even gave a shit until the 1700s, and it was from then on an entirely Christian movement. If they would simply say "I don't jerk off because angry semitic gods will roast me over an open fire for eternity it would be ludicrous, but at least they'd be open and honest about their mental illness.

    2. Fair enough. Why all the hostility towards Christianity? I’m not religious myself, but I don’t really care if people practice religion.

  7. There is nothing in the bible that says that masturbation or sex outside marriage is bad.

Religious zealots changed sexual immorality for fornication. And what does sexual immorality even mean anyway? If you interpret according to traditions of the time it has been written, sexual immorality only means having sex with a prostitute of a pagan temple (regular prostitutes = okay) and Pederasty. Even King David was said to have hundreds of wives and concubines and he was praised as a man of God.

There is a big difference between Jesus and his so called followers.
