Chaos And Bang Your Earballs- Fuck The Incline Press

I desperately need an off-the-shoulder pastel sweatshirt.

Paul loves inclines, the Barbarian Brothers loved inclines, and they can all get fucked.  We discuss that and sundry other (almost exclusively training-related) topics in this relatively short iteration of Chaos and Bang.

By the way, happy Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Day!  I'll be online tonight if anyone wants to play- my Xbox Live name is xbrutalizerx, so add me if you want and you can watch me run around with a Striker and generally act like an asshole in the new Nuketown map.
I desperately need one of those shirts.

    1. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, fuckface. You may not besmirch the good name of Nuketown!

    2. A serious map is not a map which a grenade can be thrown almost from one base to another. Only noobs like that kind of map!

For this reason he said that incline presses are unnecessary. Some members of the audience must have found that hard to believe, as he had to reiterate that point more than once."

    1. Oh yeah? I raise you an hour of Bill Kazmaier talking (with awful sound quality) about this very topic plus a lot more.

  4. Jamie, how are you structuring the diet with 2 days of eating carbs? Are you still having a Rampage day/cheat window?

    1. I generally eat carbs Saturday and Sunday, with my Rampage on Saturday night. The Rampage is somewhat reduced, so I'm not going quite as bananas when eating two days of carbs.

    2. Very "Anabolic Diet" it seems.

I remember you used to do the iteration where you did a mid-week carb up way back in your "evolution of my diet" series. Is the 2 days in a row just a matter of personal preference, or do you feel it helps you get stronger/leaner?

    3. Speaking of which, you should do a Baddest Mother ever on him. In addition to being a world class power lifter, he appears to have single handedly popularized and legitimized the Anabolic Diet style of eating... Not too shabby.

His training schedule was pretty nuts (listen to his Iron Radio interview) - He would train once ever 5 days, one light and one crazy stupid where he would Squat for 14 sets, then Bench for 14 sets, then Dead for 14 sets, then do some Rows and arms... Then repeat the Squat workout.

Hell march should be a part of every training playlist. Best farmer's walk music ever.

  6. Off topic, but I was curious, you have got an MBA, surely you could work in a more lucrative field with better salary prospects than being a developer for new cross-fit app (but then you won't get to see them hot cross-fit chicks).

  7. Still interesting that you mention inclines for light bench days in Destroy the Opposition though. I never liked inclines myself, but it obviously works for some people. I never did get why Paul's so in love with them though.

    1. 1. Easy on my shoulders and pec minor, which gets inflamed from too much benching.

      2. Helps my bench. so since I can't bench that often, I can incline about as much as I want, bench now and then, and the bench will increase.

Think I've written about this between 8-117 times.

  11. Shit, you should do a Baddest Motherfucker(s) piece on The Barbarian Brothers. Or one on Kazmaier or Jon Cole.

I'm actually kinda surprised they actually haven't been covered seeing as how much they've been referenced throughout the years.

  12. Huh? No incline pressing? What the fuck was this...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J34sRIvuLXk&list=UUil0loveh_yjXvZGH7EQ37g&index=4&feature=plcp

If you made onsies out of your T-shirts, I'd dress my son in them! He likes to break shit, play with multiple girls at the same time, and pick up heavy shit whenever the opportunity presents itself.

    Hooligan in the making!
